Certification
Since October 27, 2008, Saguenay Foundry’s compliance with the ISO 9001, version 2008, standard has been certified by SAI-Global. Prior to that, Saguenay Foundry had been in compliance with the CSA Z-299.3 standard for nearly 20 years. Beyond the regulation aspect, though, Saguenay Foundry’s policy aims at optimizing the positive impacts of such certification procedures on its activities.
Our goal within this perspective is to commit ourselves to a structured continuous improvement plan and thus enable Saguenay Foundry to continually set new standards of quality in all spheres of activity.
Finally, Saguenay Foundry has now obtained his certification with the Lloyd's Register Group. We are now able to pour ductile iron casting up to 5,570 kg (12,280 lbs) for maritime applications.
