Guest speaker at RAPID 2012 in Atlanta

January 2012  – Marc Savard has been chosen to be a guest speaker on Thursday, May 24th 2012 at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta, Georgia during the RAPID 2012 trade fair. He will discuss the need in the casting industry for new, more effective way to fabricate castings in small quantities and what technologies like Nopatech® can do to improve the development cycle of new products or the service of discontinued parts.

Marc Savard has been working for 22 years for Saguenay Foundry, assuming the presidency of the company in 2008. He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal in Quebec, Canada.

Saguenay Foundry will also be at booth 213 to showcase its new technology, Nopatech® from May 22nd to May 25th. Nopatech® is a patent-pending technology for pattern-free castings that was developed by Saguenay Foundry upon the most recent technologies in robotics.
